Welcome to the Catholic Parish of St. Brigid's, Marrickville

  Supporting Your Parish

The  parish depends upon the gifts of our  parishioners.

Making a Donation to the Parish...

... Now or in Your Will

Have you considered making a donation or bequest to St. Brigid's? Now, as in the past, such gifts have been a major contribution to the financial management of the parish .

Donations may be given in a general nature, for the Parish to decide the works to which the funds donated are directed, or to specific Parish projects, such as the Church restoration project.

Bequests can be made in two ways, either by including St. Brigid's when you are making or revising your will or by adding a codicil to your present will.

When doing so it is important that certain words are used by your legal advisor when drafting your will to ensure your bequest is correctly directed to the Parish.

Planned Giving

People give so generously of their time, their talents and their finances.  So that we can grow and develop and also responsibly service the debts that the  parish carries, we depend completely upon the generosity of the  parishioners.

The Second Collection each Sunday goes to the support of the  parish and its works. The Planned Giving “Thanksgiving” program allows us to plan more effectively by knowing more accurately what our income will be.

In joining the Planned Giving, you are asked to pledge a certain amount each week, or month, or quarter or year.  This can be given weekly in the envelopes provide which you place on the second collection or can be directly debited from our chosen account.

Of course if your circumstances change, you are encouraged to revise the amount you have promised.
